Down
To Earth Energy
Recipient of Georgia’s
first Federal Renewable Energy Grant, our goal is to model sustainable “green” energy production.
The biodiesel plant provides a domestic fuel alternative, a model for innovative energy use, and an educational space
that demonstrates an effective approach to solving environmental problems. Educational programs incorporating
the biodiesel plant: - model active solar energy
- demonstrate Green Chemistry
- model
sustainable land use
- grow oil producing plants
- demonstrate living off the electric grid
- model the energy cycle
- demonstrate
soil and water conservation
